Now is the time to get animals used to eating at your feeders. Put out seeds for birds. Cardinals will be attracted by sunflower seeds. Don't be too eager to clean up tall weeds on your property because a lot of those weeds will have seeds for birds that stay through the winter and bush provides shelter from winter winds.
