Lemon Balm...

I just changed the background for this blog.  It's lemon balm, growing pretty much in many spots in my yard.  I planted it in the side herb garden, west side, years ago.  Lemon balm is as hardy as the mints.  So, if you plant it be prepared to eventually have a lot of it!

That's okay with me, as I love it.  It truly does smell like lemons.  I've made organic furniture polish from it, with vegetable oil.  You can drink it as a tea.  I live in zone 5 in the United States and it winters over beautifully as a perennial.
